To strengthen our team, we are looking for a System Administrator (Allrounder) in Dresden.

Job Responsibilities: 

• Proficient in carrying out administration task in Linux and Microsoft Server/Desktop Active Directory environment. 
• Manage and maintain cloud infrastructure on platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Oracle Cloud. 
• Ability to perform administration task with Microsoft 365, Atlassian Cloud, Moodle LMS.
• Administer and support on-premises virtualization technologies including VMware and Proxmox. 
• Monitor system performance and ensure the reliability and availability of all systems. Familar with tools such as Icinga, Openvas is an advantage. 
• Implement and manage backup and disaster recovery solutions to safeguard data integrity. 
• Familiar with Firewall, Network concept and able to administer appliances from Fortinet, HPE, Ubquiti. 
• Perform regular system updates and patches to maintain security and compliance. 
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to hardware, software, and network. 
• Collaborate with IT and development teams to design and implement new solutions. 
• Document system configurations, procedures, and policies for future reference. 
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards. 
• Must be able to support all IT related tasks onsite at Dresden office. 

Your professional qualifications:

• Information technology related degree
• Linux
• Microsoft Windows (Desktop and Server)
• MDT
• VMware vSphere, Proxmox
• Scripting languages: Bash, PowerShell, Perl, Python
• Ethernet, VLANs, WLAN, IP, DNS, HTTPS, IPsec
