Network Administrator (m/f/d) in Dresden

• Design, implement, and support networking solutions, primarily with HP / Aruba technology
• Support and implement monitoring and security solutions such as firewalls and intrusion detection
• Collaborate with the team on various networking tasks, ensuring optimal performance and reliability
• Manage and maintain network hardware, software, and infrastructure components
• Troubleshoot network issues and implement effective solutions in a timely manner
• Ensure network security and compliance with established policies and procedures
• Monitor network performance and implement improvements as needed
• Suggest improvements on processes and procedures
• Work closely with the scientists to help design systems and structures to meet their research needs

Your Profile

• A university or equivalent degree in an IT related or scientific discipline – or a good explanation why the career path you've chosen gives you equivalent skills.
• Proven experience with HP/Aruba technology
• Basic understanding of Linux system administration, as this position requires close cooperation with the system administrators
• Minimum 3 years of experience in networking and / or IT security
• Able to work on-site
• Must be fluent in German and English and have excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• Ability to work in a team
