Engineer for Process & Software Development (f/m/gn)

We are looking for a person who can learn on and design new process and automation flows for our Front-End areas and who is at the same time able to apply this knowledge in programs to automate and improve our internal processes in the data preparation and the order entry department.

Your responsibilities include the defect-free photomask order entry and data preparation support for our production tools in the fields of lithography, metrology and inspection according to customer requirements. You will be responsible for new automation setups and optimization projects for our data preparation and order entry processes with respect to quality, costs and cycle time, including the qualification of new hard- and software, the definition of specifications and new processes. In this role you will work very closely with all European and worldwide locations of the Toppan Group.

What we expect from you:

  • University degree in the fields of Information Technologies, Electrical Engineering or a related field
  • (Semiconductor) Process Engineers or Process Technicians with a high affinity for programming are welcome to apply as well
  • Several years of professional experience in software development processes or process design, preferably in the semiconductor and/or photomask industry
  • Proficient knowledge in UNIX/Linux (Shell), in programming languages (preferable in Perl, Python, VBA), development tools (like GIT, SVN) and in databases (SQL, XML based)
  • Mindset to work, understand and transform legacy program/infrastructure (In VBA, Perl) to Modern languages such as Python
  • Proficient PC skills: Microsoft Office products
  • Strong problem solving/analytical skills
  • High customer dedication
  • Excellent communication skills in written and spoken German and English language
